Green Knights Claim Invitational Title

DE PERE - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten on the young 2010 season with two more wins in the St. Norbert College Invitational at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Green Knights (4-0) topped Northland College 25-13, 25-20, 25-9 and Aurora University 25-17, 25-18, 25-23 to claim the tournament championship. St. Norbert's Catherine Guido and Danielle Remy headed up the six-player all-tournament team.

Against Northland, St. Norbert hit a robusst .351, with 46 kills against seven errors in 111 attempts. Sarah Sulentic had 11 kills and Remy 10. Abby West had 37 assists, while Guido had 24 digs. Mary Kate Manion added 18 digs.

Against Aurora, Sulentic led the way with 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Emily Rohde had 27 assists, while Guido had 20 digs. Remy had nine kills and four blocks.
