Green Knights Split Against Wisconsin Lutheran, Wartburg

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches on the first day of the UW-Oshkosh Invitational at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights (8-3) topped Wisconsin Lutheran College in five sets, winning 25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 18-16. Wartburg College then beat St. Norbert 25-20, 26-24, 25-11.

Against Wisconsin Lutheran, Danielle Remy had 20 kills and six blocks. Catherine Guido had 42 digs, and setter Abby West totaled 27 assists.

Against Wartburg, Guido had 12 digs and West 16 assists. Mary Kate Manion added five kills.

St. Norbert will face Loras College and Martin Luther College on Saturday on the second day of the tournament.
