St. Norbert Loses MWC Finale at Carroll

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College lost a one-goal decision for the eighth time this season in a 1-0 Midwest Conference defeat at Carroll University's Schneider Stadium.

St. Norbert (6-11, 4-5 MWC) has eight of its 11 losses this season by just one goal. Carroll improved to 10-6-1, 8-1.

Andy Ksobiech scored off a free kick in the match's 82nd minute for the game's only goal.

Carroll outshot St. Norbert 16-7, including 10-3 in the second half. The Pioneers had the edge in corner kicks 6-2.

Tomek Miaskowski made two saves for the Pioneers, while Erik Tauschek had five saves for the Green Knights.
