DE PERE - St. Norbert freshman defenseman Emma Agen has been selected to play with the Swedish National Team in the 4 Nations Cup held Nov. 9-13 in Newfoundland.

Agen, who was on the Swedish National Team's pre-tournament list for the Vancouver Olympics last winter, is the only NCAA Division III women's hockey player to make a 4 Nations Cup team roster.

The Swedes are scheduled to play the United States in an exhibition game on Nov. 5 in Brunswick, Maine.

Sweden then plays Finland in its tournament opener Nov. 9, followed by Canada on Nov. 10 and the United States on Nov. 12.

The bronze and gold medal games are scheduled for Nov. 13. Canada has won five of the last six 4 Nations Cup gold medals.

In two games with St. Norbert Oct. 29-30, Agen had one assist with two minor penalties as the Green Knights split the first two games in program history.
