DULUTH, Minn. - The College of St. Scholastica scored two goals in the game's final seven minutes to lift the host past St. Norbert College 2-1 in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Mars Lakeview Arena.

The Green Knights, ranked No. 2 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, fell to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the NCHA while having a nine-game winning streak snapped. St. Scholastica improved to 5-6, 1-5.

St. Norbert's Joe Perry gave the Green Knights a 1-0 lead when he scored at 18 minutes 32 seconds of the first period.

For a while it looked like that lone marker would hold up, but the Saints applied heavy pressure in the third period answered late in the stanza. Jeremy Dawes scored at 13:32 and Alex Valenti followed up shortly thereafter at 14:21. St. Scholastica outshot St. Norbert 16-9 in the third period and 28-27 for the game.

The Green Knights couldn't solve St. Scholastica goaltender Patrick Sullivan most of the night. Sullivan made 26 saves, including 10 in the second period. St. Norbert's Mike Martin made 26 saves for the Green Knights.

Both teams committed two penalties and each team was 0-for-2 on the power play.
