GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College finished off a home weekend sweep with a 5-1 non-conference win over Concordia-Moorhead College at the Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights, ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, had beaten St. John's 6-0 Friday night and are now 13-2 overall. Concordia fell to 5-7-3.

St. Norbert forged a 1-0 lead after one period on Cody Keefer's goal at the 11 minute 11 seconds mark. The Green Knights put the Cobbers on the power play when at the end of the first period Alain Joanette was whistled for goaltender interference.

Off the opening faceoff in the second period, Johan Ryd stripped a Concordia skater of the puck and buried a shorthanded wrister just 12 seconds into the frame for a 2-0 lead. St. Norbert killed off the penalty and Keefer made it 3-0 when he deflected in a shot at the 5:45 mark.

St. Norbert put the game away midway through the third period when it scored twice nine seconds apart. Taylor Langford finished off a pretty passing combination at 11:28, and Brandon Hoogenboom followed to make it 5-0.

Concordia scored its only goal with 52 seconds left when Trent Johnson scored a power-play marker.

St. Norbert outshot Concordia 41-21. B.J. O'Brien made 20 saves for the Green Knights, while Kelly Andrew made 36 stops for the Cobbers. There were only four penalties in the game, with St. Norbert going 0-for-1 on the power play and Concordia 1-for-3.
