Green Knights Drop a Pair in Iowa

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of dual meets in Iowa by a 9-0 score to Grinnell College and a 5-4 setback to Cornell College. The matches were played at Grinnell's Bear Center Fieldhouse.

The Green Knights (5-7) picked up just one doubles match against Cornell. Derek Harrington and Nick Acosta topped the Rams' Justin Bradfield and Tyler Shonkwiler 8-3 at No. 1.

Harrington beat Bradfield 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, followed by a Matt Lobeck win at No. 3 over Samuel O'Donnell 6-3, 7-6. Danny Meicher claimed St. Norbert's other win, a 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 win over Joseph Reyes at No. 6.

St. Norbert is idle until it hosts Monmouth College on March 25 at Western Racquet Club.
