LAKE WALES, Fla. - St. Norbert College was swept in a doubleheader by Transylvania University 3-0 and 11-4 at Warner Southern University.

The Green Knights (1-3) gave up three runs in the top of the seventh inning to snap a scoreless tie when two fly balls were lost in the outfield to start the Pioneers' rally.

Josh Honzik was the tough-luck loser on the hill for St. Norbert, allowing six hits and no walks with six strikeouts in a complete-game effort. Nick Pierre had two of St. Norbert's four hits.

In the nightcap, the Pioneers bolted out to an 11-0 lead after three innings. St. Norbert scored twice in the fifth on a Garrick Fisher RBI single and a bases-loaded walk by Jeff LaJeunesse. The Green Knights, who had just five hits in the game, added two more runs in the seventh on one hit.

Kevin Nutley took the loss for St. Norbert, allowing eight hits in 3 1/3 innings including 11 runs (five earned) and two walks.
