Pack Leads St. Norbert to 15th Place at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - St. Norbert College had a pack of runners finish close together to help the Green Knights to a 15th-place finish at the Augustana College Brissman-Lundeen Invitational at Saukie Golf Course.

The Green Knights had their five runners all score between 71st and 97th to register a total of 403 points. Host Augustana won the meet with a score of 43 points, while Olivet Nazarene University was second with 103 points. Lewis University's Andrew McLain won the meet with a time of 24 minutes 53 seconds. A total of 33 teams and 403 runners competed.

Hayden Hoffmann led the Green Knights with an 84th-place overall finish with a time of 26:44. Nathan Heppe was 88th in 26:47, while Brady Bemis was 96th in 26:55.

Michael Heise was 111th overall in 27:04, followed by Benny Swift's 130th-place finish in 27:20. St. Norbert's top seven was closed out by Alex Clemetson in 178th in 28:01 and Justin Fote in 194th in 28:13.
