First Half Dooms Green Knights at UW-Stout

MENOMONIE - UW-Stout scored three times in a 12-minute stretch in the first half to lead the host Blue Devils to a 3-0 win over St. Norbert College in a non-conference game at Nelson Field.

The Blue Devils are now 6-1 on the season while the Green Knights dropped to 4-3-1.

Stout's Alix Hyduke opened the scoring at the 12:01 mark, followed by Taylor Kizlik at 21:07 and Courtney Tideman at 23:52.

Stout held a 12-3 shots advantage in the first half and held a 19-12 edge for the game. The two teams were even in corner kicks at 2-2. St. Norbert's Sarah Platzer made seven saves, while Robbie Shelby made five stops for the Blue Devils.
