Green Knights Top Grinnell in MWC Semifinal

DE PERE - St. Norbert College moved into the championship game of the Midwest Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament with a four-set win over Grinnell College at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights won the match 25-12, 24-26, 25-19, 25-14.

St. Norbert (25-7) will face Lake Forest College (15-13) at 1 p.m. Saturday in the tournament championship.

St. Norbert hit .219 for the match, posting 49 kills with 15 errors in 155 attempts. Breanne Brocker had 12 kills, while Danielle Remy and Heidi Spies had 10 kills apiece. Abby West set up the offense with 46 assists. Catherine Guido had a match-high 24 digs, while Brocker added 23.

Grinnell hit .just .080 (44-29-187). Michelle Briggs finished with 16 kills for the Pioneers, while Claire Weidman had 11. Olivia Wilks had 40 assists.
