Green Knights Can't Hold Lead at St. Mary's

WINONA, Minn. - St. Mary's University scored four unanswered goals in the third period to rally past St. Norbert College in a 5-3 non-conference decision at St. Mary's Ice Arena.

The Green Knights led 3-1 after two periods. Julia Muscarello scored in the first period, while Danielle Rozon and Katie Conlon added goals in the second period.

The Cardinals got two third-period goals each from Nicole Olson and Breanna Peterson to rally to the win.

St. Norbert outshot St. Mary's 32-24, including 12-11 in the third period. Sarah Gustafson made 29 saves for the Cardinals, while Mandy Montgomery made 19 stops for the Green Knights.

St. Mary's was 3-for-9 on the power play, while the Green Knights were 1-for-5.
