Schudrowitz Advances to 800-Meter Final at NCAA Championship

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College senior Emily Schudrowitz advanced to the final of the 800-meter run at the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship at Grinnell College's Bear Recreation and Athletic Center.

Schudrowitz ran a time of 2 minutes 12.43 seconds in Friday qualifying to advance to Saturday's championship. Schudrowitz, who won the 2010 national indoor title in the 800 with a time of 2:09.24, had the third-best qualifying time.

The championship race scheduled for 5:05 p.m. Saturday.
