St. Norbert Drops Season Opener to Lake Forest

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College lost its season opener with a 6-3 setback in a non-conference match against Lake Forest College at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.

The Green Knights picked up one doubles point. Nancy Chybowski and Emily Rasmussen beat Aimee Fadden and Lucy Cooper by an 8-5 score at No. 2 doubles.

In singles action, Maria Slusarek topped Gracie Mullins 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3. Brittany Dudzik bested Cooper by a score of 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6.

St. Norbert returns to action at 5 p.m. Friday with a non-conference match against Knox College at Western Racquet.
