Cold Shooting Dooms Green Knights

DAVIE, Fla. - St. Norbert College shot just 34.4 percent from the floor en route to a 67-53 loss to Medaille (N.Y.) College at the Florida Sunshine Shootout. St. Norbert fell to 6-3 with the loss, while Medaille - ranked 21st in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 - improved to 9-1.

St. Norbert, outshot for its second straight game after outshooting its first seven opponents this season, connected on just 21 of 61 attempts from the floor. The Green Knights made 10 of 30 attempts in the field half to trail 30-25 at halftime but made just 11 of 31 shots in the second half.

Medaille, despite having 32 turnovers, won going away thanks to shooting 50 percent for the game - making 26 of 52 attempts. The Mavericks held a commanding 46-27 rebounding advantage.

Amanda Baker led Medaille with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Carissa Ferrucci added 13 points and Marisa Clark 12. Morgan Strasser led st. Norbert with 14 points, while Linsey Propson added 11 points.
