Green Knights Claim Win at Benedictine Fall Invite

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - St. Norbert College picked up the team championship of the 20-team Benedictine University Fall Invitational at St. Andrews Golf Course.

The Green Knights fired a 307 to finish three strokes ahead of runner-up North Park University. North Park's Robin Hakkanson was the medalist with a one-under par 70. A total of 103 golfers participated.

Evan Mass finished in a four-way tie for second place with a 74. Joe Martin and Nic Vrubley were part of a three-way tie for seventh with each carding a 76.

Sam Dougherty and Mike Wilkinson completed the St. Norbert quintet, both shooting an 81 to finish in a six-way tie for 48th place.
