Green Knights Finish Fifth at MWC Championship

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College placed fifth for the second consecutive year at the Midwest Conference Championship held at The Rail Golf Course.

The tournament was shortened to 36 holes - nine each of the first two days due to weather with 18 holes on the final day. The Green Knights finished with a 201-206-376--783 to finish six strokes behind fourth-place Illinois College. Carroll University won the championship with a 692, 10 strokes ahead of runner-up Grinnell College. Carroll's Morgan Zuleger was the conference champion with a 47-42-80--169. A total of 36 golfers competed.

St. Norbert's Kelley Kletti finished in 17th place with a 49-47-90--186. Lauren Roethlisberger finished in a tie for 26th with a 52-54-97--203. Taylor Debski was 28th with a 51-51-104--206, while Alexis Klinger was 29th with a score of 49-58-100--207. Allison Parra carded a 52-54-106--212 to finish in 30th place.
