Green Knights Rout Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in Midwest Conference play with a 3-0 win over Lake Forest College at the LFC Sports and Recreation Center. The Green Knights claimed the triumph with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-19.

St. Norbert (16-7, 3-0 MWC) never trailed in the match. The Green Knights hit .212 in the match, connecting on 36 kills in 113 attempts against 12 errors. Lake Forest (13-8, 3-2 MWC) had 28 kills and 28 errors in 123 attempts for a hitting percentage of .000.

Breanne Brocker led the Green Knights with 11 kills and also had 12 digs. Danielle Remy posted 10 kills and six blocks. Mary Kate Manion and Heidi Spies had six kills apiece.

Catherine Guido had 19 digs, while Manion added 11. Abby West had 28 assists, and Spies chipped in with six blocks.

St. Norbert faces Beloit College and Edgewood College starting at 11 a.m. Saturday at Flood Arena in Beloit.
