Green Knights Stay Unbeaten in MWC

DE PERE - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in Midwest Conference action with a 3-1 win over Ripon College on Connie Tilley Court at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights felled the Red Hawks 25-9, 25-9, 24-26, 25-9.

St. Norbert (19-7, 5-0 MWC) hit .540 through the first two sets and ended up hitting .388 for the match. The Green Knights connected for 54 kills against nine errors in 116 attempts. The Green Knights also forced Ripon (9-17, 3-4) into 24 errors by registering 14 blocks. Ripon hit .026 (27-24-116) for the match.

Breanne Brocker recorded her 14th double-double of the season with 14 digs and 13 kills. Brocker hit .360, with four errors in 25 attempts, and also had six blocks and four service aces. Heidi Spies hit .714, recording 10 kills in 14 attempts with no errors. Danielle Remy hit .444 with nine kills and one error in 18 attempts, and also added seven blocks. Abby West finished with 35 assists.

Catherine Guido had 11 digs, bringing her career total to 2,476. She is 81 shy of surpassing the St. Norbert career digs record of 2,556, set by Jess Radocay from 2002 to 2005.
