DE PERE - St. Norbert College snapped its two-game losing streak in a big way with an 87-31 demolition of Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference game on Connie Tilley Court at Schuldes Sports Center.

The Green Knights (13-6, 10-4 MWC) entered the game having lost consecutive conference games for the first time in six years, but the mystery was removed from the game early. St. Norbert opened the game with leads of 14-0 just 4 minutes 40 seconds into the game and held a large 29-2 advantage with 8:35 left to go before halftime. St. Norbert led 47-12 at halftime.

St. Norbert outscored the Vikings 40-19 in the second half as sixteen different players saw action for the Green Knights. Megan Doody recorded a double-double the hard way, netting 15 points while dishing out 10 assists. Morgan Heim added 15 points. Tasha Giese finished with 12 points and six assists, while Amy Wieting contributed 10 points off the bench.

The Green Knights shot 56.5 percent (35-for-62) from the floor and had just six turnovers. St. Norbert was also 9-for-16 (56.3 percent) from beyond the three-point arc, and Doody was 5-for-5 on her trifectas.

Lawrence (1-17, 0-13) shot 21.6 percent (11-for-51) from the floor and missed all 13 of its three-point field-goal attempts. Amber Lisowe led the Vikings with eight points.
