Green Knights Topple UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College scored its first win over UW-Oshkosh in men's tennis for the first time in over two decades with a 5-4 non-conference triumph at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center.

The Green Knights (6-9), who have won six of their last seven matches since an 0-8 start, beat the Titans (9-10) for the first time since a 7-2 win in 1991.

Travis Buechel's win at No. 4 singles was the decisive point in the win. Buechel tipped Adam Kasper 7-6, 6-1.

Buechel and Nate Gosz claimed an 8-6 win over Kasper and Charlie Bostwick at No. 3 doubles. Tim Hartwick and Nick Acosta earned an 8-6 win over Kevin Lewis and Bobby Brooks at No. 1 doubles.

Josh Sweere earned a 7-5, 6-4 win over Alex Yang at No. 5 singles, while Gosz topped Ross Kohlhase 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
