DE PERE - St. Norbert College rebounded from a tough loss one day ago to top Northland International University 5-0 in a non-conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (1-1) wasted little time taking control of the match, connecting on three goals in the first 15 minutes of the match. Michael LaTorre scored his first collegiate goal by finishing off a pretty passing combination at the 7:50 mark, with Sam Lamers and Jim Blisk assisting.

Nate Felhofer converted a penalty kick at 12:02, and Lamers finished a breakaway with Joe Fabich assisting at 14:38.

The Green Knights salted the game away with a pair of second-half goals. Blisk converted from the doorstep at 60:08 with Lamers assisting. Fabich then scored his first collegiate marker at 70:17, finishing off a breakaway of his own with Trevor Scales assisting.

Lamers finished with four points, getting one goal and two assists. Blisk and Fabich both had three-point games with one goal and one assist.

St. Norbert outshot Northland International (0-1) by an 18-9 count. Scott Faul made five saves to earn the win in goal for the Green Knights, which included a penalty-kick save in the first half.
