St. Norbert Earns Dual Wins Over Elmhurst and St. Joseph's

ELMHURST, Ill. - St. Norbert College picked up a pair of non-conference dual-meet victories Sunday with a 6-3 triumph over Elmhurst College and then scored an 8-1 decision over NCAA Division II-member St. Joseph's (Ind.) College.

The Green Knights (4-1) got one doubles point at No. 3, with Katherine Ake and Ashley Randazzo picking up an 8-0 win over Jennifer Guenther and Kayla Mangiapane.

St. Norbert then swept Nos. 2-6 singles. Erika Chitko defeated Annie Duggan 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2, and Elizabeth Manlick topped Nicole Darga 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3. Ake bested Meg Griffin 6-3, 6-2 and No. 4, and Ariel Bloniarz defeated Brittany Kuehn 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5. Brittany Dudzik closed out the wins with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 over Guenther.

St. Norbert then claimed two doubles points against St. Joseph's. Manlick and Randazzo topped Clare Kost and Tate Hickey 8-2 at No. 2, followed by Ake and Maggie Berens defeating Vanessa Olson and Kendall Shinn 8-3 at no. 3.

Nancy Chybowski topped Cynthia Keagley 6-3, 0-6, 10-8 at No. 1 singles. Chitko followed with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-3 win over Katie Guernsey at No. 2. Manlick defeated Kost 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3, while Ake topped Shinn 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4. Bloniarz blanked Olson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5, while Dudzik dispatched Hickey 6-0, 3-6, 10-8 at No. 6.
