Green Knights Split at UW-Oshkosh Tournament

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches to open play at the UW-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Invitational at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights (4-8) topped College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe North Central College 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22 before falling in five sets to Martin Luther College 17-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-13.

St. Norbert turned in a stellar defensive effort against North Central, allowing the Cardinals just a .103 hitting percentage while digging out 61 attacks. Aubree Antosch had 21 digs, while Breanne Brocker had 12 and Abby West 10. Brocker finished with 11 kills, and Heidi Spies added 10. Spies also had seven blocks. West finished with 35 assists.

Spies finished with 15 kills to lead St. Norbert against Martin Luther, while Brocker had 12 kills and Hannah Johnshoy 10. Antosch finished with 21 digs, while Brocker had 11 and Katie Stewart 10. Spies finished with five blocks. West had 32 assists, and Kaitlin Delahaut had 10.
