St. Norbert Trims Beloit

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College scored a season-high six goals en route to a 6-0 Midwest Conference win over Beloit College at Ashwaubenon High School's Goelz Field.

The Green Knights (4-6-2, 3-1 MWC) scored three goals in nine minutes in the first half to pull away. Trevor Scales scored his first goal of the season, netting an unassisted marker at 31:34. Patrick Hehir scored off a solid strike at 37:54, with Thomas Gritton assisting. Kirill Vasilenko's fourth goal of the year came off an assist from Jim Blisk at 40:32.

Nathan Angell scored at 59:57 with Hehir assisting to give St. Norbert a 4-0 edge. Sam Lamers scored at 62:49, while Andrew Hull scored from Jake Van Hecke at 74:22 to close out the scoring.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 13-1. Scott Faul made one save in 71 minutes for the Green Knights. B.J. Kiser made two saves for the Buccaneers.
