Green Knights Can't Overcome Early Deficit at Carroll

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College fell behind 3-0 to Carroll University and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to the Pioneers in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Pioneers got first-half goals from Caden Pruitt (3rd minute), Jake Helland (21st minute) and Dan Czernicki (36th minute) to take the lead.

St. Norbert (6-7-2, 5-2 MWC) countered with a goal by Trevor Scales at 64:05, with Brandon Buhr assisting. Carroll salted the game away with a goal three minutes later from Jeremy Milinski.

Carroll outshot St. Norbert 18-4. Scott Faul made seven saves for the Green Knights, while Tomek Miaskowski did not make a save for the Pioneers.
