St. Norbert Blanks Ripon to End Regular Season

RIPON - St. Norbert College won for the sixth time in its last seven games with a 3-0 Midwest Conference win over Ripon College at Prairie Field. It marked the third consecutive shutout for the Green Knights.

St. Norbert (9-7-2, 8-2 MWC) wasted little time taking control of the match, with Sam Lamers converting a 1-on-1 situation into his fifth goal of the season at the 9:44 mark. Joe Fabich scored for the fifth time this season just moments later, getting an assist from Kyle Adams to score at 12:28.

The 2-0 lead held up until the Green Knights put the match away with a goal at 69:50, with Jake Antoniewicz scoring for the third time this season with Trevor Scales assistign.

St. Norbert outshot Ripon (3-14, 3-6) by a 16-8 margin. Scott Faul went the first 70 minutes and made two saves, while Sam Lisheron made one stop in the final 20 minutes to preserve the shutout. Cody Messerschmidt made seven stops for the Red Hawks.
