St. Norbert Home Finale Saturday Against Grinnell

DE PERE - St. Norbert College plays its final home game of the season when it hosts Grinnell Colllege at 1 p.m. Saturday at Schneider Stadium in De Pere. The Green Knights remain tied with Illinois College atop the Midwest Conference standings, with the two teams not meeting this season.
St. Norbert holds an 18-1 lead in the all-time series, which began in 1986. Grinnell's only win in the series came in a 49-28 win in 1998 in De Pere, a year when the Pioneers went 10-0. The Green Knights have won the last 14 meetings in the series. In the six home games against Grinnell under Jim Purtill, St. Norbert has won by an average of 44.2 points per game.
The game will be broadcast live regionally on WACY-TV 32 with Dean Leisgang and John Burton on the call. This is the third consecutive season WACY has live broadcast St. Norbert home football games. WACY-TV can be found on most Time Warner Cable analog systems in the area on Channel 83.
