LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College advanced to the championship game of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Four with a 3-2 win over College of St. Scholastica in a semifinal-round game at Lake Forest College's Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.

The Green Knights (19-6-2) will face Lake Forest at 3 p.m. Saturday in the championship game. St. Norbert, 14-1-1 in its last 16 games, will look to avenge its only loss during that stretch. The Green Knights fell to the Foresters 4-1 on Feb. 8.

Following a scoreless first period, St. Norbert took the lead when Jillian Kosteck scored her fourth goal of the season 1:42 into the second period. Emily Chandler and Henriette Ostergaard recorded assists.

St. Scholastica (15-8-3) tied the game 1:40 into the third period on a Michelle Rebeck goal. The Green Knights countered with 10:49 remaining when Tarraneh Dadgar scored for just the second time this season, with Lauren Roethlisberger and Andrea Senne assisting.

The Green Knights gained a much-needed insurance goal with 3:33 to go when Ostergaard banged home a power-play marker, her 10th goal of the season Zoe Kurth and Laurel Hill assisted.

St. Scholastica's Kaitlin Johnston got an extra-attacker power-play goal with 40 seconds left, but the Saints couldn't get the equalizer down the stretch as St. Norbert held on.

St. Norbert outshot St. Scholastica 36-34. The Green Knights were 1-for-3 on the power play, while St. Scholastica was 1-for-4. Kaley Gibson made 32 saves for the Green Knights, while Lindsey Hartfiel made 33 stops for the Saints.
