Hill Named Women's Hockey's First All-American

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - St. Norbert College senior defenseman Laurel Hill was named the Green Knights' first-ever All-America selection when she was chosen to the first team of the Division III CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Team.

Hill, a Huntsville, Ontario, native, is the first All-American in the Green Knights' four-year program history. Hill was the fifth-leading scorer among defensemen nationally and was second-best in the West Region with four goals and 20 assists for 24 points in 26 games.

Hill closed out her career with 12 goals and 41 assists for 53 points in 90 career games.

St. Norbert finished 19-7-2 overall this season and was 12-5-1 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. The Green Knights lost to Lake Forest College 3-2 in overtime in the championship game of the NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs.
