DE PERE - Adam Sanchez scored a pair of goal to give St. Norbert College its first Midwest Conference win of the season in a 3-0 triumph over Lake Forest College.

The Green Knights are now 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the MWC, while Lake Forest fell to 3-4, 2-1.

Sanchez didn't waste much time getting St. Norbert on the scoreboard, scoring just 4 minutes 51 seconds into the game on an assist from Mike Burmesch.

Burmesch had the assist on St. Norbert's second goal, with Kevin Conrath scoring his second marker of the year at 14:23. Sanchez then knocked in his team-high fourth goal of the season off an assist from Nick Hren at 25:55 to give the Green Knights an insurmountable lead.

St. Norbert outshot Lake Forest 12-7. Joe Schwartz made two saves for the Green Knights to post his first shutout of the season.
