Green Knights Tied for 23rd at NCAA Midwest Regional

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College finished in a tie for 23rd place out of 38 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional held at Lake Breeze Golf Club.

The Green Knights compiled 704 points to finish in a tie for 23rd with Principia College. North Central College won the team title with 51 points, while UW-Eau Claire was second with 108 points. Washington University's Andrew Padgett won the 8-kilometer race with a time of 23:57.

Sasha Maro led St. Norbert with a 119th-place overall finish with a time of 26:51. Dan Reigh was 136th with a time of 27:08, while Michael Heise was 143rd in 27:15.

Andrew Lemay placed 157th overall with a time of 27:29, and C.J. Lewis was 160th in 27:32. Sam Holt placed 176th in 27:45, while Jacob Wittmershaus was 218th in 28:49.
