DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored a pair of second-half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Beloit College in a Midwest Conference game at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

The Green Knights (6-4, 2-1 MWC) scored early in the second half, netting the game's first goal at 48:09. Ben Vanden Avond's pass found Aaron Benson. Benson's shot was stopped by Beloit goaltender Nathan Lipps, but rebounded out to John Cremer. Cremer knocked the ball home for his second goal of the season.

St. Norbert iced the game at the 80:23 mark. Vanden Avond struck a crossing pass that found Donny Baloun, who headed the ball home for his second goal of the year.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 16-7, but held a commanding 11-1 advantage in the second half. The Green Knights also had eight corner kicks to the Buccaneers' one.

Lipps made three saves for Beloit (4-4-1, 1-2 MWC). St. Norbert's Noah Davis made three saves, including a key stop just before halftime on a quality Beloit scoring chance, for his first collegiate shutout.
