Relays Pace Green Knights at North Central

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College had two relay teams score points as the Green Knights took part in the North Central College Cardinal Opener.

The Green Knights finished sixth with 19.5 points. UW-La Crosse won the team title with 175.5 points.

The St. Norbert distance medley quartet of Sarah Parbs, Brittany Sheahan, Crystal Combs and Haley Joosten won with a time of 13:35.19, 32 seconds ahead of the runner-up foursome.

The 4x400-meter relay of Brianna Alexander, Angel Hon, Ashley Berton and Sheahan was seventh with a time of 4:28.20.

Samantha Morateck was the only individual to score points, finished in a tie for third in the high jump with a height of 5 feet 1 3/4 inches.

At the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., Brittany Kozlowski finished second in the 800-meter run competing against NCAA Division I and II competition. Kozlowski turned in a dime of 2:18.23, narrowly clipped by winner Amy Kerst of Hillsdale College's time of 2:17.93.
