RIPON - Jessica Schadrie's natural hat trick paced St. Norbert College to a 7-0 rout of Ripon College in a Midwest Conference match at Prairie Field.

The Green Knights (7-5-1, 4-0 MWC) moved to 32-0 all-time against Ripon (2-10, 1-4 MWC). St. Norbert's next match is Oct. 11 in a battle for first-place in the MWC at Grinnell College.

St. Norbert scored two goals eight seconds apart early in the game to take a 2-0 lead. Kate Kaminski scored on an assist from Stephanie Gatyas at 5:18. Schadrie scored just eight seconds later off a pass from Jenni Jacobson. The two goals were the second-fastest two goals scored by the same team in NCAA Division III history. Scranton's Erica Verderbev and Susan McCloy scored seven seconds apart on Oct. 4, 1994 against Delaware Valley.

The Green Knights poured on five goals in the second half. Schadrie scored the first two goals of the second half, both off assists from Gatyas, to run her season goals total to 13. Kaminski, Ann Maki and Jacobson closed out the scoring with three goals 1:51 apart midway through the second half.

St. Norbert outshot Ripon by a 23-3 margin. The Green Knights also had four corner kicks to the Red Hawks' two.

Mallory Ford made one save to earn the win for St. Norbert. Brittany Verheyen made one save in 26:33 of relief for the Green Knights.
