Green Knights Place Seventh at MWC Tournament

GRINNELL, Iowa - The St. Norbert College women's golf team concluded their season with a seventh-place finish in the Midwest Conference Championship.
The Green Knights fired an 1175 over the three-day, 54-hole event. St. Norbert was eight strokes shy of finishing in a tie for fifth. Illinois College won its sixth consecutive championship by shooting a 1028. The Lady Blues' Meredith Robinson shot a 254 to claim conference medalist honors.
Andrea Liebelt shot a 278 to lead St. Norbert, carding team-best rounds of 92 on both Friday and Sunday to finish in 17th. Tracie Wasmuth was 23rd with a 292 and shot a 93 on Sunday for her best round.
Stephanie Haines carded a 303 to place 31st, including a 98 on Friday. Jessica Rogers was 33rd with a 308, firing a 98 on Saturday. Jennifer Ackman was 34th with a 310, shooting a 101 on Friday for her best round.
