Green Knights End Trip at Hands of St. Olaf

LEESBURG, Fla. - St. Norbert College wrapped up its spring break trip to Florida with losses of 4-2 and 9-2 to St. Olaf College at Pat Thomas Stadium.
The Green Knights (7-5) had just two hits in the opener. Troy Rottier hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Jason Malkowski doubled in the sixth inning. Malkowski came around to score on a throwing error later in the inning.
Nate Schadrie took the hard-luck loss, allowing seven hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.
In the nightcap, the Oles jumped out to leads of 5-0 and 9-1 to take control. Rottier had an RBI single in the third inning and Tyler Banovich scored on an error in the sixth inning.
Derek Klegin was 3-for-3 with two stolen bases to lead St. Norbert. Brendan Hermann took the loss for St. Norbert, allowing five runs and six hits in 1 1/3 innings.
