St. Norbert Drops Pair of Non-Conference Matches

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of non-conference matches by scores of 7-2 to UW-La Crosse and 4-3 to UW-Green Bay at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.

The Green Knights (17-5) earned one doubles win against La Crosse, with Katherine Ake and Erika Chitko defeating Jennifer Graham and Rachael Wabers 8-5 at No. 2. In singles, Ake defeated Bryanne Blanton 7-5, 7-5.

St. Norbert earned the doubles point against the Division I Phoenix, winning two of the three matches. Ake and Chitko defeated Stephanie Londre and Maria Neff 6-4 at No. 2 doubles. Anna Gosz and Ashley Randazzo topped Rachael Menos and Lauren Miketinac 7-5 at No. 3 doubles.

Nancy Chybowski picked up a three-set win over Miketinac at No. 3 singles by a 6-4, 0-6, 7-5 score. Chitko defeated Samm Pedersen 7-5, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
