Green Knights Lose Tight Match to Lawrence

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College dropped a close 5-4 decision to Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference match at Western Racquet and Fitness Club.

Travis Buechel and Nate Gosz claimed St. Norbert's only doubles win, a 9-7 victory over David Jumes and Sotaro Kurahashi at No. 1.

Gosz earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kurahashi at No. 2 singles. Casey Brice fashioned a 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 win over Mitch Kasprzyk at No. 4 singles. Ben Vande Zande picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win over Adam Busch at No. 5 singles.
