St. Norbert Tops Dubuque, Falls to Wisconsin Lutheran

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College opened its appearance in the UW-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Classic with a win over the University of Dubuque before falling to Wisconsin Lutheran College at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights (3-3) opened with a 25-23, 25-20, 25-17 triumph over Dubuque before dropping a 17-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-22 decision to Wisconsin Lutheran.

St. Norbert hit a solid .263 against Dubuque, which beat Midwest Conference favorite Cornell College in five sets earlier in the week. The Green Knights had 43 kills against 18 errors in 95 attempts against the Spartans, who hit just .163.

Hannah Johnshoy had 10 kills against Dubuque, while Halie Ferry and Kristina Herman both had eight kills. Justice Janke added seven kills. Kaitlin Delahaut led St. Norbert with 18 assists, while Lauren Lehman added 16. Aubree Antosch finished with 13 digs.

St. Norbert did not strike the ball as well against Wisconsin Lutheran, hitting .122 with 39 kills and 21 errors in 147 attempts.

Ferry finished with a team-high 11 kills, while Erin Lang added 10 kills. Delahaut finished with 24 assists.

Antosch had 19 digs, while Ferry and Delahaut had 16 digs apiece.
