Green Knights Place 9th Out of 19 Teams at UW-Whitewater Invite

DELAVAN - St. Norbert College placed ninth out of 19 teams at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invitational held at Delbrook Golf Club.

The Green Knights totaled a two-day, 36-hole total of 364-360--724, finished three strokes behind eighth-place Monmouth College. Carthage College won the meet with a 315-323--638. The University of St. Francis' Krystal Garritson was the medalist with a 74-73--147. A total of 97 golfers competed.

Taylor Debski led St. Norbert with a 23rd-place finish, totaling rounds of 82 and 88 for a sum of 170. Lauren Roethlisberger tied for 36th place, finishing with an 85-92--177.

Isabel Detienne tied for 55th place with a score of 97-89--186, while Megan Lau tied for 68th place with rounds of 100-91--191. Abigail Butterbrodt finished in 93rd place with a total of 118-108--226.

The Green Knights will close out the fall season with the three-day Midwest Conference Championship, held Oct. 2-4 at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, Ill.
