St. Norbert Drops Match to UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College closed out the month of September with a 3-0 non-conference loss to UW-Oshkosh at Titan Stadium.

The Titans (9-1-1) took a 2-0 lead at halftime on goals in the 17th minute by Jonathan Stanley and in the 30th minute by Nick Gonzales. Alec Pasick scored in the 87th minute to close out the scoring.

Oshkosh outshot St. Norbert (4-5-1) by a 16-6 margin, including 9-2 in shots on goal. The Titans also held a 4-0 corner-kick advantage.

Eddie Sanchez made three saves in the first half for the Green Knights, while Tim Fox made two saves in the second half. Sam Gabrilska made two saves for Oshkosh.

The game marked the end of a non-league series played between the two schools for 32 consecutive years, with UW-Oshkosh set to discontinue its men's soccer program after the 2015 season.
