Green Knights Trip Ripon to Advance to MWC Championship Match

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - St. Norbert College advanced to the championship match of the Midwest Conference Tournament with a 3-1 win over Ripon College in a semifinal-round match at Small Multi-Sport Center at Cornell College.

The Green Knights (14-17) avenged two regular-season losses to the Red Hawks with the win by scores of 25-19, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21. St. Norbert will face Cornell at 4 p.m. Saturday for the tournament championship.

St. Norbert hit .222 for the match with 60 kills and 21 errors in 176. Halie Ferry finished with a team-high 20 kills, while Kristina Herman added 17 kills.

Kaitlin Delahaut finished with 29 assists and gives her 2,024 for her career. Lauren Lehman added 18 digs.

Aubree Antosch finished with 20 digs and there service aces. Delahaut had 14 digs and Ferry added 12 digs.

Hannah Johnshoy finished with five blocks and Erin Lang four.

Ripon finished with a .197 hitting percentage with 50 kills and 20 assists in 152 atempts. Katie Berrell led the Red Hawks with 14 kills.
