St. Norbert Finishes Fifth at North Central Opener

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in fifth place at the highly competitive North Central College Cardinal Open at the Res-Rec Center.

The Green Knights totaled 55 points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 183 points.

The Green Knights captured the distance medley relay with a time of 13:24.76. The 4x400-meter relay was third with a time of 4:14.96.

Sarah Duff finished in third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.63. Haley Joosten finished in sixth place in the event at 1:03.61.

Samantha Morateck was tied for fourth in the high jump at 5 feet 1/2 inch and Nicole Vanderlin was tied for seventh with a height of 4-10 1/2.

Angel Hon was fifth in the 200-meter run with a time of 26.99 seconds, while Haidyn Mueller was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles at 9.71 seconds.. Sarah Parbs was sixth in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:42.90.

Kristina Herman was fifth in the shot put with a distance of 40-5 and MOrgan Pinardi was sevneth in the triple jump at 33-6.

Charlotte Walsh was seventh in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:17.16 and Alyssa Price was eighth in 11:18.32.
