GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College extended its unbeaten streak to 33 games with a hard-fought non-conference 2-1 win over Concordia-Moorhead College at the Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights, 29-0-4 in their last 33 games, are now 4-0 on the season. Concordia fell to 0-3.

St. Norbert snapped a 1-1 tie early in the second period. Cory Harder scored his second goal of the year on a shot from the point that had Cobber goaltender Elliot Okland screened 3 minutes 35 seconds into the period.

The Green Knights scored first, tallying a goal at 6:41 of the first period on a Brandon Longley power-play score, his third marker of the year. Concordia answered with a power-play goal with 36 seconds left in the first period when Knut Bitustoeyl banged a shot in off the pipe.

Neither team would score again after Harder's goal, although Concordia had a very good scoring chance with about 5 seconds left with an extra attacker, but Blake Bashor knocked the puck wide.

Bashor made 28 saves for the Green Knights, while Okland made 36 stops for the Cobbers.

Concordia was 1-for-7 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 1-for-3.
