WAVERLY, Iowa - St. Norbert College junior Erin Artz finished her appearance in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a 13th-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at Wartburg College's Walston-Hoover Stadium.

Artz finished with a time of 17:23.10, about 12 seconds short of finishing in the top eight. Stevens Institute's Amy Regan won the race with a time of 16:27.32.

Artz also competed in the 10,000-meter run on Thursday, finishing as an All-American in that event with a seventh-place finish.

The two team points Artz earned in the 10K enabled St. Norbert to finish tied for 74th place out of 85 teams scoring. Illinois Wesleyan University won the team championship with 42 points.
