Green Knights Win Lake Superior State Invitational

KINCHELOE, Mich. -- St. Norbert College won the team championship of a meet for the second time in as many weeks at the Lake Superior State University Chris Yanni Memorial at The Oaks Golf Course.

St. Norbert took the top three places on an overcast, humid morning en route to a strong team finish of 26 points. Host Lake Superior State, a NCAA Division II institution, was second with 42 points.

Riley Boyce won the individual championship by covering the 8-kilometer course in 26 minutes 53 seconds. Jacob Wittmershaus was second in 27:40, while Jaxon Todd placed third in 27:54.

Matt Holloway placed eighth overall with a time of 28:44, while Ben Behling completed the scoring with a 12th-place finish in 28:57.

Harrison Grunert placed 22nd with a time of 30:02.44 and Andrew Hebbring was 24th with a time of 30:12.
