MEQUON - St. Norbert College picked up a solid road win when it shutout Concordia University Wisconsin 1-0 in a non-conference game at Fitting Field.

The Green Knights (2-1) got their goal early in the second half to get all the scoring they would need to defeat the pre-season favorite to claim the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference championship.

Monica Stephans scored just 1:46 into the second half for her third goal of the season. Stephans shot came from just outside of the penalty area into the top left corner of the goal.

Concordia had a 13-9 advantage in shots but the Green Knights had a slight 4-3 edge in corner kick opportunities.

Maddie Plinska made five saves to earn the shutout for St. Norbert. Ariana Worthing made one save for the Falcons.
