Bourneuf Leads St. Norbert to Fall Invitational Title

WRIGHTSTOWN - St. Norbert College opened the fall portion of the 2016-17 men's golf schedule with a comfortable win in the team championship at its Fall Invitational at Royal St. Patrick's Golf Links.
Luke Bourneuf, making his collegiate debut, carded a 2-under par 70 to pace the Green Knights, who finished with a 306. St. Norbert finished 23 strokes ahead of its "C" team, which finished in second place with a 329. Lakeland University was third with a 331.
Bourneuf had four consecutive birdies on holes No. 3 through No. 6. He also had a birdie on Hole 14. He had a bogey on Hole 8 and a double bogey on Hole 7. Bourneuf finished with 11 pars to go out and in with scores of 35.
Ben Bobinski tied for second place by finishing with a 77. Mitch Rudolph, golfing for the "C" squad, finished fourth with a 78.
Tony Arnold finished in a tie for fifth place with Max Baranczyk of the "C" team, with both turning in a score of 79.
David Jensen (80) finished seventh, Ian Tisonik (81) tied for eighth place and Adam Rohde (83) was tenth.
