DE PERE - St. Norbert College posted its second consecutive win via shutout when it blanked UW-Oshkosh 1-0 in a non-conference game at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (3-1) also claimed a shutout with a 1-0 triumph over Concordia University Wisconsin this past Sunday. St. Norbert now has a win and a tie in its last two meetings with the Titans. The win was the Green Knights' first over Oshkosh since a 2-1 victory on Nov. 2, 2002.

Both teams battled to a scoreless first half before St. Norbert got the better of the action in the final 45 minutes. The Green Knights scored all the goals they would need when Monica Stephans headed in a cross from Aimee Conley at the 57:26 mark.

The Green Knights would have the only quality scoring chance in the final 30 minutes, with a Conley drive halted by Oshkosh goalkeeper Jessica Galason.

St. Norbert would hold a 10-4 shots advantage in the second half and 12-11 for the game. Oshkosh had a 3-0 edge in corner kicks, with only one coming in the second half.

Maddie Plinska turned in a six-save effort in goal to earn the shutout win for the Green Knights. Galason made eight saves for Oshkosh.
